Brown Book Company is committed to amplifying youth voices and eradicating childhood illiteracy through storytelling, mentorship, and publication. Every donation helps fund books so that childen can have access to literature that reflects their identities, workshops for aspiring young authors, and the growth of confident young storytellers.

Each sponsorship directly impacts young lives, fostering a love for reading and learning. Choose from various sponsorship packages tailored to meet different classroom needs.

Note: Brown Book Collection is a registered nonprofit organization in the state of Missouri. We have not yet applied for 501(c)(3) status, so donations are not currently tax-deductible. We appreciate your support as we grow our impact.

    Sponsor A Book Set

    Put self-published, child-authored books into classrooms. Empower a child to become a published author.

    Students who go through our program write and publish their own books, and we sell these books to raise funds and inspire more young authors. You can sponsor copies for elementary schools, helping kids read books written by other kids.

    • $700 – Sponsors 50 books (full classroom set)

    Sponsor the full journey — from story idea to published book.

    This is our signature programwgere children write, edit, and publish their own stories, then sell or distribute their books to schools. The program ends with a school visit and read-aloud by the student author.

      • Creative writing workshop
      • Book development, editing, and illustration
      • 25 printed books for sale/distribution where student keeps a percentage of profit
